WoW Herbalism guide - So You’re a Herbalist…

Your first task once you’ve selected this profession is to find a trainer. They are generally located in and around large cities and one of the quickest ways to find one is by asking the guards. They can point you in the right direction very quickly and save you wandering aimlessly for hours looking for help. If you’re after a trainer in alchemy they are generally quite close together and this is one of many reasons that the two options fit nicely. Let a WoW Herbalism guide help you. You can easily use this to train for both professions at the same time, which can encourage skill building at a much faster rate than would otherwise be possible.

To reach the master level which is 300-375 you need to find a trainer in a specific area. This is in Hellfire Peninsula, and without this trainer you cannot progress. Once you’ve passed those levels you can head onto the Grand Master levels of 375-400. There are plenty of advanced WoW herbalism guide available that can coach you through that level in detail. If you are playing as an Alliance character then you need to head to different areas when it comes to training. These are in Howling Fjord’s Valgarde or in the Borean Tundrea at Valiance Keep. If you’re playing as a Horde then it is important that you head to Vengeance Landing but you can also head into Howling Fjord if necessary.

When you get your training you’ll be ready to go. This is all you really need and you simply add to your training with a bag. Make sure it has a lot of room so that you can collect more herbs at a time. If you like you can visit a tailor and have a custom made bag produced. Sometimes this is the best option to follow after you’ve made some initial gold as it’ll cost you to access.

Check for herbs almost everywhere that you go. They can be located in very odd spots including under water so keep your eyes peeled and know what you’re looking for. Any WoW Herbalism guide will tell you all of the available herbs will show up on your map when you reach the skill of ‘find herb’ and this means you can simply follow the map to find locations. It won’t tell you what it is, just that a herb is available so be aware that the more common species are likely to grow more often and be the most common product you find. All you need to do is walk your character to it. If nothing activates then the herb is unavailable at your skill level and you have to keep looking or take some time to level up.

If you get an excess of herbs you can head into the auction house to sell the stock. This is a great way to make some extra gold and if you’re in a bind something rare is going to fetch a high price.
